Gathering Greens was founded by Hiren Joshi, a civil engineer and passionate environmental enthusiast, in 2020. Hiren’s journey began on Instagram, driven by a vision to make a difference. Witnessing the efforts of others, he realised more action was needed and turned to social media, a powerful and accessible medium to support this cause.
Since then, Gathering Greens has grown significantly, engaging over 500 individuals in more than 50 cleaning drives. So far, they have successfully collected over 1000 tons of waste since the inception of Gathering Greens. One of their proudest moments is their association with the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). Hiren and his team have worked on making homes and offices waste-free, organized nature walks in and around Ahmedabad, and collaborated with local colleges to spread awareness about environmental issues.
