Awareness workshop

Awareness Workshops

Our Awareness Workshops are hands-on and conducted offline, with sessions typically held once a month. Each workshop accommodates 40-50 participants, depending on turnout. Please note that during the monsoon season, our focus shifts to tree plantation activities.

Composting Workshops

These workshops are ideal for households looking to start composting at home. We guide participants through the process of making compost from everyday kitchen and garden waste. Attendees learn practical techniques for successful composting and can reach out to the Gathering Greens team for ongoing support and advice if they encounter any issues or have questions about their composting efforts. Additionally, we share contacts for obtaining the necessary materials to help you get started with composting.

Segregation Workshops

Our Segregation Workshops are for schools, corporates, and homes, teaching participants about different types of waste, such as wet and dry, and how to sort them correctly. We explain why proper waste separation is crucial and show what happens to waste after it’s collected. This hands-on learning helps improve environmental health and is essential for addressing global warming. By practicing these skills, you contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Bio-Enzymes Workshops

Our Bio-Enzymes Workshops focus on making natural cleaners at home using fruit waste, like oranges. We teach you how to create these eco-friendly bio-enzymes, which are a better alternative to chemical detergents that can pollute water bodies. By learning to make and use bio-enzymes, you contribute to reducing environmental pollution and promoting a cleaner, greener lifestyle.

Paper Making Workshops

In our Paper Making Workshops, we demonstrate how to create paper from waste materials like bamboo & banana peels, and other cellulose-rich sources. We also show how waste paper can be recycled to make new paper. These sessions provide a visual understanding of the paper-making process, highlighting how everyday waste can be transformed into new, useful products. While not hands-on for everyone, the demos offer valuable insights into recycling and sustainability.

Environment Conservation Workshops

Our Environment Conservation Workshops are tailored for schools and corporates, scaled to fit the available time. These sessions aim to raise awareness about current environmental issues and how both individuals and teams can make a difference. Participants learn about practical steps for improving the environment and get a reality check on the potential future impacts of current practices. The workshops go beyond textbook knowledge to offer real-world insights and inspire actions toward creating a waste-free, sustainable future.
